I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about this type of vase. Type? Maker? Vintage?

Teardrop shaped, red, with kind of an iridescent or metallic finish. Packaged with a beautifully polished wood base. All of the documentation is in Japanese, which I can't read :)

Does the vase seem heavy or light for it's size?
Also, is it very cold or does it warm quickly when you hold it?

Seems on the heavy side. Didn't notice any change in temp. when holding it.

Thanks UP. From what I have seen and heard it is possibly glass with a metallic finish. I can't help any further sorry.
