Saw this at a friend's home and thought it was amazing. She had no idea about it's history - only knew it came from her husband's family when her mother-in-law passed away.
I have done some research on the internet and think I have cracked it but would love some other opinions. Sorry, I don't have any other views to share. What do you think?

Not sure if the metal mounts are marked.
Lovely Kralik bacillus vase and Art Nouveau metal mount. I hope you find a small makers mark somewhere, but few were marked, I think. If you find one, let us know. It is likely to be at the back on the band.
Tell your friend there are people on both sides of the pond who would love this!

When you said you thought you had cracked it............not a good feeling.
No, that would not be good! But I think I cracked the mystery of what kind of glass it is. I am brand new to art glass and I have had a great time researching this piece. I will pay more attention to the glass items I run into at sales and shops from now on. Maybe I will find a treasure of my own.
