    Need a little help. No identifying marks , only the word sterling on bottom of band on the foot. What is it? Circa, use , etc..

      It reminds me of an Imperial Candlewick bowl but as far as I know, there weren't many with the ruffled rim or the silver base, let alone both. This was the only example I found so far. It's not the same, obviously, but it is similar. Maybe there's someone more familiar with this pattern who might know.

      Here's a different one, again close but no cigar. This one is much lower,but that could just be the height of the base. The angle of the photograph matters when comparing pics.

      Here's an excellent article from CW on vintage Imperial Glass. Its' most successful line. Circa 50's.
