Hello: I purchased this orange tea set at an estate sale. It stamped RW Bavaria 38 on the bottom of the items. Through my research I found out that RW are the initials of Rudolf Wachter. Does anyone know what the 38 stands for? Is it the date of manufacture? I really like the bright orange iridescent color. This is why I bought this set. I can't find this pattern anywhere I researched (with the exception of the teapot listed on Ebay). I would like to know more about the history of this tea set.

This color is known as Orange Lustre. The 38 is the pattern/design number.
