We came across this B.L. Marble Co. swivel, lean back and rolling chair today. After doing some research, it seems as this dates back to the early 1900s. We're wondering if anyone can give us any more information about this chair. If anyone needs more pictures, we can surely post additional ones.

In communicating with the Bedford Ohio Historical Society we have found out the following:

"Your chair is a stenographer's posture chair. Your chair number, #27 1/2, was offered in the B.L. Marble catalog from 1930 through 1940. The chair was available in Mahogany, Walnut, Imitation Mahogany, Imitation Walnut (both stain on Birch), and Quartered Oak."

We than Collector's Weekly for allowing us to post our find.

A photo of the complete chair would be interesting to see.
