Hand Painted Nippon bowl with a finger hole. There is a boat painted on the inside bottom and there is beading painted on the finger hole and around the edge.
The back stamp is a “M in Wreath”, M stands for Morimura Bros. (importers). Mark used since 1911.

I have no idea what its purpose would be other than being decorative.
