    Obsidian
    (2 items)

The girlfriend picked this up at a yard sale. I am not sure of even where to begin to find out information on it. I am unable to find any markings of any kind on it that would indicate where it is from. Anyone have any suggestions?

A piece of folk art, probably bought as a souvenir. Mexico would be my first guess as to where it originated.

Spain would be my second guess. :-))))

      Efesgirl,

Thanks for the reply. Yeah we figure it must be from Mexico but unable to see anything that might tell me for sure. I have been looking to see if I can find anything else like it, but so far no luck. Any ideas on where I could start. Does something like this have much value at all?

Since this is probably a tourist item, there's little chance of finding in anywhere on the web. I think it's monetary value would be rather small.
