On display out of my personal collection which consists of both Victorian art glass & ceramic figural miniature oil Lamps. A few of my favorite Figural oil lamps are featured in this show & tell!

The first picture displays 3 smaller types of high quality miniature lamps. These type lamps are European and (it is believed) that they did not come with a particular shade I added these shades). Their sizes vary greatly, however these 3 are about 7-8" to the op of their shades. There burners contain a wheel that raises & lowers their wicks easily; and are also displayed with either a chimney shade or a shade & a chimney.
The second picture is of a matching set of EXTREMELY RARE Victorian monkeys. As you can see each displays the monkeys in different positions as well as the monkeys themselves are different. I added the 5 1/2" (bottom size) 5" tall overshot Victorian shades also of the highest of quality.

Picture 3 is of the Columbus Lamp, made by The Consolidated Lamp & Glass Co. Pittsburgh. Pa. and was made in approx. 1884. Columbus is embossed on the base. He stands about 10" tall. The burner & lower part of the chimney are inside the shade. When lit the face lights up brighter than the rest of the shade as the glass there is thinner.

Picture 4 is of a Kingfisher Figural miniature oil lamp with a matching bowl. This is a Very rare lamp for many reasons; both in its beauty, rarity, and also due to the fact that most of the entire birds body is covered by tiny glass beads of different colors (referred to as Coralline). I added the blue & satin Nailsea shade which was made in Nailsea England in the late 1880's. The Cook-A- Berra Bird as it is known down-under is sitting on a mound also covered with leaves & flowers.

Kookaburra. We sang the Kookaburra Song when I was a kid. Still remember it!
