This is a Dorrie Nossiter silver necklace with a T fastener, there is a large Citrine pear shape drop, the pendant as the typical Dorrie Nossiter leave and scroll work. The metals are gold and silver with one blister pearl at the top and a round Carnelian with Pearl shape citrines and peridots in a bezel setting, between the drop and the pendant is what I think is a sea pearl. I love the way Dorrie Nossiter uses colours and her leave and scroll work is amazing. The back of her work is always very neatly finished, she is one of my favourite designers. This necklace was probably made in the 1930s.
Many thanks for looking.
It's good that you have this necklace. You are the very right person to treasure and take care of it.
It's lovely. Did you just get it, or is it from your wealth of jewelery.
Hi Gillian, I have a very wonderful person who sells excellent pieces of jewellery. He knows I'm a great Bernard Instone fan, he also knows I'm very interested in Dorrie Nossiter so I'm very lucky to know him.
Hi Gillian, I've just reread your comment, yes it's a recent purchase.
Many thanks
