    This was found in wonderful shape with great details this small fish is about 4 inches in length. I don't have any idea on how old or what period just a cool piece.

      That fish must have been caught in an underwater landslide to have been completely preserved like this. Even outline of the flesh is evident. Great fossil.

      Sure that's stone & not concrete ? LOL ! Must be really, really old since that part of the continent is falling into the sea instead of rising. Maybe came from another place ?

      Could be but they continue to pull Megalodon teeth out of the area.

      I know the Megalodon teeth are found all over the S.E. & even far inland, but surprised that they show up there.
