This doll is 14" tall, feet are stuffed & do not have toes, the body & legs are leather texture, but no label. The hands and head are porcelain and the back of the head has a single letter stamped on it. I am not sure if it is a capital e or f with a period after.

I just sold her, so it is their problem now. :)

They should be more writing lower than the E it maybe covered by body . Always best to photo antique dolls nude . She is a dolly face and Kestner did letter dolls but she does not look like the quality of their dolls so something is missing on markings that is hid. She is a German made doll

So many of the clothes are held on by pins that I'm affraid of removing them.
She is the only shadow box doll that is a true wooden & glass box, so it is hard to even get close to her. I will have to try and take her back out some time and see if I can get a better look...
Thank you for the feedback - every little bit helps!

It is also important when buying dolls they are naked so you can check for damage . many times it is hid by clothes that are sewed on .
