18” baby is held together with elastic rope; she has an open mouth, eyelashes make appearance of moving eyes, but they are not.
The hands are darker than face & a finger shows wear.
Neck & back have markings. The neck says 990 above A. 7 M, and I believe it is a German doll from the back stamp, but it is not legible to me. Can anyone else make out what the stamp reads?
Made by Armand Marseille and is mold number 990 a Character Baby vs a dolly face doll . Has replaced wig which is to big and should be mohair or real hair and the number 7 is just size number of head .
Oh yes it is German
