I bought this in a second hand shop as it spoke to me in volumes when I saw it. The beauty and peace that resonated with me was overwhelming. It has the signature of Henner on it. Since then I have done a little research and now realise Saint Fabiola is the Patron Saint of divorced people, difficult marriages,victims of abuse, adultery,unfaithfulness, widows and the Hospice movement. The original painting by Jules Henner went missing years ago. My oil painting as you can see is very faded and cracked. The frame is made of wood and is very heavy ( very old I am sure) The frame is 28 ins length by width 23 ins. Canvas inside frame is roughly 20 ins by 16 ins. Thank you

Is it a print on canvas?
Hi Celiene I have no idea if its original. I had never heard of the Artist Henner before until I did a little research. I do not think its a print on canvas as you can feel the bits of paint where its worn. Any advice would be helpfull.
