I saw this jug some weeks ago, but decided today to buy it. Soaked it in vinegar and dish soap and scrubbed the inside with a non-scratch pad. Nearly all the cloudy stuff is gone now. I don't know if the body is from a mold or if the whole jug is mouth blown. It is rather heavy, so perhaps molded. On all sides there is a sort of "ripple" design - like what you would see if you tossed a stone into a lake.
Age? No clue....
Thanks for any info, folks.

Before reading your post, my first thought was, "Boy, that looks heavy!" Another GREAT find! And a GREAT price!..... Grrrrrr!!! [;>)))))
No idea....but it looks great!
DecoVoo - it's hard to try to date this stuff with nothing but the design to go on. It really is beautiful. I would use it for juices.
NB - if I had another one, I could do weight training! LOL!
olebodie - I sort of figured it was blown into a mold but wasn't 100% sure, and love it no matter where it was made. I never thought about glass like this coming from Viet Nam. Interesting.
I tried an Image search with a different photo and entered several different searches for an amber glass juice pitcher or jug but didn't find one like mine. :-(((
olebodie - I find that in many cases with generic items, but curiosity gets the better of me.
I love this!! You and your amazing deals! I wish I had you talent for finding the deals that you come across.
