I just picked up this Westmoreland Milk Glass covered dish with a Sea Life motif. I found it at my local Goodwill for USD $1.99. It is a little dirty but free of chips and cracks. The piece has the Westmoreland mark inside the lid. Does anyone know the name or the approximate age of the piece. Thanks for looking.
Great find. Love the feet. Awesome.
Thank you Deano

Westmoreland reissued this pattern as #1048 'Argonaut Shell' beginning in the 1960s; it was eventually made in at least 35 different colors of glass. This 'Shell and Dolphin' item was introduced by WG c1885; but those would not have a WG mark.
Vallérysthal & Portieux also included a very similar (and often confused) pattern #3828 in their 1907 catalog; tho' there are noticeable differences, the most recognizable difference is that the shells on the lid touch.
A beauty
Thank you for the information TallCakes.
