HOW DID YOU DATE IT AND DID YOU RESTORE IT? I GOT ONE OF THE WASH BASINS AND A DESK WITH TOWEL RACK AND MIRROR AND AM NOT SURE IF ITS WORTH MORE RESTORED OR NOT.
THANKS FOR ANY HELP

We obtained the information upon purshasing them as well as several driends who own antique businesses who edified the information. We looked at furniture for years before buying an item. Being a novice, it is good to get advice from people who are in the know.. We did that and are starinig to understand the craftsmanship of different eras.
You can buy something old, and soon it can be more valueable and add character. You buy something new and soon it is just old. It takes a generations or more to make it old and it takes it being desireable to make it antique worthy. Find some you know like Minner's antqiues in Dover DE. They're honest, hard working people who let you know what you have if you buy something and they are the furniture hospital to help you fix or replace a missing peice.
