Mystery Knife

Looks like Madagascar steel, stamped with a phoenix and skull and cross bone. Bone hilt with copper pins, gold wire and melted silver. Beautiful knife that I found in upstate New York a few years ago. Pawn shop find for $20 dollars. No idea the age, it's got heavy patina on the handle portion that isn't covered by the sheath. Obviously hand made, and made well at that, but I have no idea by whom or when.
