    Hello
    Trying to identify this interesting chair. Solid heavy wood. Looks carved but not rough. I think it's an oak but really not sure. Originally had an orange seat and back but leather top shelf.

      Looks like it has been reupholstered by an amateur , and wonder if they removed a finish, and that’s why it feels rough, sanded unevenly? I presume their’s no marks underneath?
