Hello everyone.
This pendant is a real mystery!! I have no idea how I even ended up with it in my collection....
It is made from some kind of alloy I think.....with both a matt and shiny finish. It has a 3D effect with little blocks, surrounding a nice sliver of Paua shell.
The 3rd picture is to show the 3D effect and the forth picture is with the flash on.
It measures 2 1/2 inches high x 1 inch wide and weighs 24gm (0.85oz).
It is a bit weird....but interesting at the same time...... Not marked anywhere that I can see.

It looks very much like the pendant necklace Bonnie posted a little earlier. What are the chances? The bale looks the same too.

Well, there it is! Looks like a molded piece - Brutalist style would be my guess. I looked for, but didn't find, another like it on Google Images.
Yep...there it is!! lol. Brutalist!!!! I knew there would be a better word to describe it...thanks for your help Bonnie and for the love....... will just keep plugging away at it.....lol....it will turn up one day.......

Greetings from scandinavia! I would say this looks scandinavian 1970's and Finland would be a good guess. But the abalone shell is not something I'm used to see here, it's not in it's "natural" elements.
