This old ink well has a really cool frog opening and a crystal holder. It has a few spots to hold your Feather or writing utensil. This has no markings. Has anyone seen such things or no more info?

What -- you lost the Feather to it? How can one write a letter then......LOL
It might be a Vintage inkwell ....but the holder is for several calligraphy pens, maybe?
See this link as to what I mean, hope link works as I can NOT preview to see if it does..... ;-(

Yes you're right it's to hold calligraphy pens. Unfortunately the bottom is worn away so no markings do you know who could of made it
I have always like these. Here is what I found.
Barometric Ink Stand (with pen rack), patented 1861-67 by Thomas Hudson, advertised 1878-81, still marketed in 1905. In 1905, it was manufactured by Cutter Tower Co., Boston, MA, which said at the time that the inkstand had been sold continuously since 1861. officemuseum.com
