I found this vintage bicycle fender in attic that is in really good shape. I don't collect bicycles but I know from my own collecting how hard old parts can be to find. There aren't any markings on fender and there aren't any vintage bike shops in my area. Is it possible to identify what bike this fender came off of? Fender is a deep red shading almost into maroon and has thin gold striping running 1/2 from edges. It measures as follows: 28 1/2" in diameter; 1 7/8" wide; and 1/2" deep. It has three mounting holes in it: (1) round 1/4" hole indented on top side and located 5" from rounded end; (2) 1/4" x 1" slot on tab bolt end; and (3) 1/4" x 3/4" slot located 14" from tab bolt end. Mounting bracket is 2" wide by 13 1/2" long with single tab 3/16" round hole on top and 1/4" x 3/8" slots on bottom. Fender doesn't appear to be used and only damage is bolt tab is slightly bent (stepped on it). Fender may have been for a cruiser type bike of from late 1960s to early 1970s (I vaguely remember one of roughly this color). I would hate to just throw it away. So any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
