The base I made here for this 1940's airplane is not fancy but some I make are, I hand file scallops and grooves into the bases I make - to give them a classic flair. The airplane with the base I made is sitting on a period cobalt blue mirror table, one of a pair.
I do a lot of work in my garage, whatever and wherever my mind takes me !
