The base of this model says 1968 but it was not released until 1969. This is my own Woody and it is in near mint condition aside from some flea bites on the radiator.
The roof on this one is called the fingerprint-textured roof. It is supposed to represent the fabric covered roof of the 1930s woodies. The woodies of the 1950s had steel roofs.
