This is a very nice find for me, because of the local history around it. There were five of these tie clips in the shop, but this was the only one that was Sterling silver. Nobody bothered to check them, so they all had the same price tag.
Locality of mine site: Hoensbroek ( a stone's throw from me).
The Emma coal mine was started in 1908 near the town of Hoensbroek and began production in 1911. This mine was named after the mother of queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands. The mine was closed in 1973.
Emma (1911 - 1973), production 109.032.000 ton.
Thanks for looking/loving, friends!
