    these graduates are not as old as others in my collection. late 1930s to 1940s is my best estimate. These young people were my dad's cousins. These postcards were possibly made to pass out to relatives as they were not mailed and there is no message on the back.

      Serious looking graduates, very poised and I'll bet very proud that their parents cared enough to memorialize the occasion--and how nice for you.

      Yes, PostCardCollector..they were different times. I doubt they were encouraged to grin. It was a solemn occasion.
