Iam sooo happy you have this amazing photo!! Would you love to step right into this photo??

Oh yes, I want to know which one was Pearl and all of their stories. I find it interesting that in these old photos the women almost always wear an apron as part of their wardrobe. They worked so hard from sun up to sun down as did the men and children too. We have it pretty easy in comparison. Thanks for the love, PostCardColllector!

Great photo!..... but what is that in the background, behind the house??? [;>)

I'm not sure of your meaning, NevadaBlades. There is a corner torn off the upper left edge of the photo. thanks to Caperkid and fortapache for the loves.

Upper left I see a tower or a church. But keep in mind I do not have good vision.
Is the the area NevadaBlades is referring to?
    8. Manikin Manikin, 8 years ago
I don't see a tower ? but I do see a girl on her bike and her doll in front of her sitting on ground . The photo was well posed before taken . Priceless looks at times gone by .
    9. mareredware mareredware, 8 years ago
I don't see tower either and NevadaBlades will have to let us know what he sees. The corner was cut off for some unknown reason. Thanks for your input, Manikin!

Probably matrixing and in my brain, a tower. I still see it, but it must be my imagination playing tricks with the tree branches.

Jscott0363, I do appreciate the compliment. I hesitate to take credit for this "collection". To me a collection is gathered and researched and involves time and effort. So many of my things simply landed in my lap thanks to my ancestors who rarely discarded a thing and to the years of research carried out by relatives who shared photos and documents and stories. So, those items I have shared and will share are a wonderful collaboration of many individuals. I think they would say much obliged!
