Considering myself a Neophyte in Czech glass, I dare not assert that this is definitely a WELZ vase but knowledgeable people here at CW will surely recognize the design and shape. This new acquisition measures 4 3/4" tall and has three ribs in the centre and one near the rim. The design can be described in one word; "electric" as in lightning. The inner layer of glass is white but you can see the pseudo-panelling of the outer design through the white. No markings underbase. Any comments welcome and you are welcome to use my photos if you want to add it to your albums, BOB
I have not seen the décor or shape before that I recall. Great example of Czech glass.

Being an Art Deco collector, among other things, I am well aware that the use of "3's" in the design of the era was widespread. I am also aware of Kralik and other glass with three rings incorporated in the design. Different sizes, placements etc..... but three rings none the less.
Personally, I would have to see something quite a bit more substantial than a "repeated claim" in this forum that three rings are a "Rückl marker". Based on current glass examples, it strikes me as a completely unsupportable claim that I would hope does not gain momentum through repetition.
Thank you Ivonne and Glassie for the love. RER(BOB)
