    I was given this wonderful piece. It has 1896 stamped on the bottom. I don't know if that is the year or not. The pitcher measures 13" tall and the basin is 16". They both have gold trim. The flowers are roses.

      That number doesn't show up in the photo. If it's impressed into the pottery, then it's the mold number.
