This painting might date to around the 1940's or so (based on the frame and typed label). It is an image of the church in Mordiford, England.
I could not find anything about the artist.
I believe that the painting might have been for tourists.
There seems to be a legend about this place: Maud and the Dragon
The painting has some issues. Someone put a big green dot of paint on it! I removed most of it, but now it needs to be retouched at bit. One day, when I am really bored, I will do it.

I got the painting at GW when they were still open in Ontario. I paid less than $5 so I decided I would try to fix it when I have a chance. If it doesn't work out, there is nothing lost LOL
