These dolls were in a cedar chest that belonged to my wife's grandmother. Her grandmother received the chest on her wedding day in 1908. These dolls and parts were in the chest. along with some quilts that she made years ago. I can't find this cloth doll anywhere. It is stuffed with cotton. The cloth doll is about 14 inches tall.We also have the small dress for the little boy doll. It'd\s a shame it's broken. That's about all I can add.
The cloth doll is a Art Fabric Mills Doll . These were printed fabric you cut out and sewed and stuffed yourself. They have been around sine since early 1900's . Yours is a very nice example . They made many faces and dressed in different attire .
Here is one that is similar

This is a early 1900 one uncut . And how they would have looked before a Mom made them

Thank you so much for helping me out on this little lady. I figured it was from the late 18 hundreds. One my wife's grandmother played with as a child.
