Today's junk shop find is this large 14 inch long punch ladle that looks to be in very good condition .It just needs a good polishing.It is hall marked on the back and was a bargain at 1.50

Looks like Dutch silver marks to me. Can you clean up those marks and take another photo?
The first is the Lion Passant, which means it's not less than .833 silver but also not sterling silver.
The second mark is the Minerva assay mark. There should be a letter on the helmet. That letter will tell me where it was registered. The marks in these photos are out of focus.
