    It has a ten on the face of pin which to me means ten years of service. Other than that I dont know any thing of the bird design..any information please thank you for looking.

      It looks like a Federal government length of service pin.

      Hi kamikaze,
      The "bird" design on your service pin is actually the emblem of the U.S. Army. This looks like a pin that would be awarded for "10" years of service in the army. I have seen similiar pins for other branches of the military. Its been a while since I have been on CW, so I am a little bit rusty. Hope this helped.
