This Kralik flower vase is less commonly seen than the Kralik floriform which stands on two leaves and the end of its stem. However if you look at image four you'll see why I recognised it as Kralik immediately.

It is definitely the same décor. The petals are textured, UV reactive glass with vaseline glass around the edges. Also there are very noticeable golden glints though not from inclusions. Below the flower the stem has large thorns. The base is four small leaves made in the same way as the flower petals.

    Height 18 cm./7 inches

Hi Peggy, Well done. You got a bargain! I'd have bid on it myself but had just bought yet another vase (which I'm about to post now :), have way too many. It couldn't have gone to a better home and looks great with the other one. I thought it would be a lot taller than the lying down ones but it looks like there's not much in it.

Hi Fran, the seller had given it a really long winded title, ending with saying it was British! Some days you can't believe your luck!

A beautiful floriform, sklo. I like the upright form very much and it is the perfect compliment to your other beauty!

Thanks, Michelle, for a lovely comment. It's also good to have both as on close comparison there are as many differences as similarities.
