    Hi guys,

Found this while rummaging in our cellar. The bottle looked nice. There is a W mark on the bottom. And it's says 25 Oz. Can somebody tell me what this is?

The thistle design tells me it might be from Scotland - perhaps a whiskey bottle?

Vintage whiskey bottle. Their designs really took off in the '40s and '50s.

Here is something to think about:
"Federal Law Forbids the reuse or resale of this bottle. This was required to be placed on all American Whiskey bottles after the end of prohibition. The requirement lasted until 1964 after which whiskey bottle no longer carried the inscription. If your bottle has these words embossed it was made between 1932 - 1964"
