The egg is from late 1970s to 1980 is when my family bought it. It weights about 10 pounds and is about 21 inches tall. It is hallowed and stands on its own. I don't have much more information. Any information would be grateful.

      Vintage Chinese
Blue and White egg. maybe someone can decipher the signature?

The mark is that of the Qianlong (1736 to 1795) reign in the Qing dynasty, very popular on reproduction porcelain. Dave is right on with the age.

So what does Qianlong mean? Is it old? Or just an reproduction of something?
    5. Efesgirl Efesgirl, 8 years ago
This is a 20th century reproduction. Very often, old marks are repeated on reproduction pieces. "The Qianlong (25 September 1711 – 7 February 1799) was the sixth emperor of the Manchu-led Qing dynasty, and the fourth Qing emperor to rule over China proper." > Wikipedia.
