I owned a custom framing shop. A customer had a car full of dolls that belonged to her mother. No one in her family wanted them. I sold dolls in my shop (not Madame Alexander), so she thought I might like to have them. She just wanted to get rid of them. This one looked like it might have value because it's a Madame Alexander #AD814 (on her back.) The doll makes me think of Jackie Kennedy. I'm not a "doll person," and just wondered if anyone recognizes this doll or knows anything about it. Thanks. celeste_spence@hotmail.com
How tall is she ? The photo is so small I can't even tell what she is made of . Could you post a larger photo also please .
The name Madame Alexander is carved in her back. She's about 14 in tall.
Yes she is Jackie what threw me was it was made by "Aston Drake" (The AD mark) for Madame Alexander Co . I would say around 1990's .
Ashton Drake oops typo anyway here she is
