Canadian assembled version of Tri-ang 200 series Lorries.
Thistle Toys were assembled in Canada by Lines Bros. Canada. St Patrick Street. Montreal.
Lines Bros. company set up showrooms in 3 Canadian cities; St. Patricks street, plus Wellington St. Toronto, and Kingsway and 17th st. Vancouver. Forestry was expensive in and around Montreal during this time, thus Lines Bros. built a large sawmill in Sutton, Ontario.
Approx. 18 inches of heavy steel. This one is in great original condition with some expected playwear and is missing the dump box tailgate.
According to the limited reference material I have read so far, the steering wheel was mounted on the left side of dash, but this one is clearly a right hand drive. Decals look original, and I see no sign of this being a restored British Tri-ang with Canadian decals. So I am sure there will be variations.
