Unknown maker red glass bottle. It has gold fleck spots all over the bottle. The base is clear glass. This must have had a stopper at some point. I am going to have to go looking for this one, I am thinking Murano but I have not really looked for it very hard yet.

This is probably a later Chinese made vase and would not have had a stopper.
The thicker clear case, the bubbles and the shape make me head that way.

You are probably right. I still haven't spent much time looking, trying to research a painting I got yesterday, but your points make sense. Still I have very few red glass pieces and when I finally get my display space, it will be a nice break from the other colors I already have an abundance of :)

It's really nice glass. I never discount glass because it is Chinese. ..their glass makers are creative and skilled!

I don't either, when it comes to glass, I buy what I like and then sort it out later. I do like being able to identify and differentiate though. Some people that come to my place get a unexpected lesson on the stuff I collect. So I always like to learn and be informed and the difference between Murano and Murano style made elsewhere I am learning piece by piece.
