Found this old pitcher at a thrift shop I think it's vintage not sure. It has some old grime on it looks like someone just pulled it from a cabinet and donated it to a thrift shop w/o cleaning it. I am pretty sure I saw it in a book I had from the library but they are closed today so I'm not able to look again. I can't find it on the internet. There are no marks or names on it.
made by Anchor Hocking c1961. Not sure Hocking named the pattern but it's often listed as 'Pennsylvania Dutch' or 'Amish' or 'Horse and Buggy' or 'Colonial Dutch'
Thank you TallCakes, I've looked everyplace and wasn't able
to find anything on the piece. Your info helps so much. I never
realized it was that old. I was going to use it for a vase and put
flowers in it for a birthday but I may re-think that now.
you're very welcome... old pitchers are great; I have a couple that I use in the kitchen as utensil holders.
I have old crocks for utensils but that's a great idea.
I'm kind of kicking myself because I passed up two
other pitchers I should have bought also, live and learn I guess.
Very different pitcher. I have never seen anything like this one but so glad TallCakes helped you ID it. Love it!!
Thanks for the love OneGoodFind , vintagelamp and aura.
