I remember these being displayed since I was a kid in the 1940s.
What are they called? When? who made them? As you can handwritten maker marks on bottom include: K.B., N.Y., 326 Italy. Any clues?

Made in Italy and imported by Koscherak Brothers New York. Very nice !
