Unknown. Passed down for generations. The chair was purchased in the 1960's from one of my fathers co-workers who inherited the chair from his great grandmother. My parents are now in their late 70's. Believed to be built in the turn of the century.

I have one very similar to your chair. It was recently given to me but the person who had it did not know the history of it.

I'm very much hoping someone can give you information about your chair because that will help me know the history of mine. The only difference between your chair and mine is the decorative caring on the top of it. Mine has similar, however. Other than that that are about the same.
