I got this chair for free - the lady said she thought it was about 40 years old? Wondering if anyone can tell me how old and why it is so low! Is it a certain style and where would you put it in a house. Or should I re-start, shellac it and make it an ooutdoor chair?

I just posted on show & tell and my chair looks very much like your chair. Have you learned anything? I'm located in the state of Virginia. I would love to know who made these chairs. With cushions mine is comfy and would be nice on a screened in porch where it cannot get wet. Please let me know if you have learned anything! Thank you! aratkins
