This CD 153 insulator was made by Gayner glass company in the early 1920's and were a short lived insulator as makers transitioned from the CD 152 Hemingray No 40 to the CD 154 Hemingray 42. Most commonly found in light aqua or green aqua, but once in awhile they can be found in a light milky aqua. This specific insulator was pulled out of the mud on the Hocking Valley line in 2007 by myself and I was totally unaware that it was a milky until I got it home and cleaned it.

Most of the easy glass has been found but there's still millions of incredible insulators still out there, just under the ground waiting to be found.

I see the next insulator brand I need to add to my collection.

You can find them but you'll likely have to hit a show to get one or find one on eBay. They're fairly difficult to find, I just was *extremely* lucky to find the 2 that I did in the wild. I sold one and kept this one.
      Best in collecting!

I rarely, in the wild, find anything but plastic, clear, rubber, and May 2nd's. I did find the arm to a vintage pole with one attached insulator, though, and brought that home for display. LOL.
