A few years ago I bought this vase from a thrift shop and then moved unexpectedly, completely forgetting about it.
So, now that it's finally unpacked I can't figure out the mark. Initially I thought it was Fenton, but can't find that mark in their catalog. I also looked up Richardson, Jefferson, Webb....... any thoughts?

I'm pretty sure it's vaseline glass so I'll be buying a black light first thing tomorrow.

    Thanks for stopping by!

I believe that this could be "FENTON"? the f looks very familiar to me.

The part that throws me is the F seems to be against a globe, or something of the sort.
    5. SEAN68 SEAN68, 8 years ago
      It's not a globe!!

I can't see the details really well. Does the circle in the background have evenly-spaced lines radiating down from the top? I've seen that in person on a piece of glass with the Fenton 'F' but I've never found that particular Fenton logo shown online. I always found that strange since it's usually the opposite - more info on the internet than I actually see in person.

swfinluv1 - Thanks for bringing the lines to my attention - I took more pics, edited with two different filters to (hopefully) show the "globe" image I mentioned. I've searched for a few days and have yet to see even the square mark in which the F sits.
It definitely is Fenton, the mark is driving me nutty! I'm also unclear as to the pattern... is it Coin Dot, or Coin Spot? The dot in spot in dot totally throws me for a loop! Each dot / spot has a pontil-like scar/mark.
Things that make me go hhmmmm?

Sooo..... after another few hours of researching I found the mark! The Fenton F is for the USA mark, the F with a globe is for the international pieces / catalogs. Scroll about half way down the page and there are a few pieces like mine in the Optics book.
