      Hi there LELETTE !!!

      The piece is Fabulous !!!

The raised mark has the letters J D with a B beneath I believe.
Julius Dressler - Bohemia or Biela.

"In 1888, Julius Dressler founded a pottery factory in Biela, Bohemia specializing in majolica. Little is known of Dressler after 1910, although it appears the factory remained in existence until 1945."

Wowza - What an incredible piece - simply stunning. Maybe it's the classic black, gold and white together, but be still my heart! I've pasted a little article on Dressler below, but this also has some examples of his mark, which I found so difficult to read from the above two articles. Also, if you scroll right down to the very last part of the page, there is a vase with the same pattern and colours as Lelette's.

I have a question, can you separate the top tray from the bottom part, making an oval dish?
