one of the many things i like to collect

my dad bought out a house and this picture was hanging up on the wall and he gave it to me. i was wondering if you could tell me a little about it. i dont know too much about old pictures or antiques but i know i love to collect them. This is the only picture i have but i have a bunch of old books and bibles, so right now i want to know more about the picture and what you think it might be worth. the name on the bottom says R. D'ALESSIO all capital letters. it looks like old canvas and an old frame and old wire hanging to hang it from the wall. i hope the pictures will help thanks, billie jo ramey
