Hello CW friends!
This is my bronze huntsman hare. I've always liked him very much as he's quite unique with his hunting horn and huntsman's cap by his side.
He's bronze, but not solid, and about 8 1/4" tall. I'm not sure where he came from. But, I've seen only a few others that were advertised as circa. 1940's and German made. But, I'm still not truly sure about the age or of him being German or French made. Perhaps some of my CW friends might help me out on that.
These were offered in both hare and fox versions. I also have the fox version of this bronze figure. But, my fox version has quite a bit more patina to it.
Thanks so very much for stopping by and having a look. I do sincerely appreciate you all.

kivatinitz,
Thanks very much! I've not been able to find any information on this one (yet). I've searched for the past year, or so, and have had no success at finding anything. I do believe he is German made, but that's all I've been able to find. Thanks for the love and for stopping by. I'm always glad to see you drop by.
Thanks for the loves

Wow OneGoodFind!!
No, I actually had no idea. I don't fully remember what I paid for this one. But, I paid nowhere near that for mine. Nice to know!
I've been told this is from the 1930's, but I've never been convinced of that. Thanks for the info and thanks for stopping by.
