    UNSOLVED WHAT AM I. ALMOST 2 INCHES WIDE. ROUND PART TURNS IF CENTER BUTTON IS PUSHED DOWN. THE HOLES STAY THE SAME OPENING WHEN TURNED. ALSO MARKED D. R. G. M. & D. R. P. a. FOUND IN A BOX OF JUNK. THANKS

      Here's a clue: It's marked "Made in Germany" (in English). "Tempometer" means temperature in German.

      As you rotate the round part do the square holes open and/or close? It may be an in-line, adjustable thermostat for a water-cooled engine.
