Hello CW friends!!!
While I previously posted my Huntsman Hare, it reminded me to go ahead and post one of several vintage hunting horns that I have in my collection. It's works well and is quite loud!!
This one is made of copper and brass and was manufactured in England. Other than that, I have no other knowledge of this, as hunting horns are not my area of expertise.
This one measures about 12" from end to end and 5" at its' widest point. If anyone can tell me anything about this hunting horn I'd truly appreciate anyone's input.
Thanks so very much for stopping by and having a look. And thanks especially for any help you can give me on this hunting horn.
Scott
It was probably used for Fox hunting, I just hope the fox got away, I hate blood sports.

This is similar.
Oops it didn't paste, sorry Scott.
Thanks Jean! Yep, I kinda thought my horns are for fox hunting. Just don't know how old this one is. It's got a couple of small dents in it, so it's been well used at one time or another.
Thanks for the love and for stopping by. Always great to see you stop in and admire my collection! Much appreciated!!!
