I have enjoyed seeing others' posts of cadmium yellow glass over the last 3 years, and have always been fascinated by Moon's post

    http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/161615-welz-draped-and-spiraloptisch-yellow-cadmi

This is a very interesting complex lobed draped shape with a similar iridescence. I don't know what this adds to others' shape collections, as there are others with oodles of years of collecting that I look to for that.

So, this remains a fascinating addition to the mix. From the few shapes I have seen at present, I am going to say Welz, but that is not to doubt the shape in moss agate on Kralik-glass.com, nor Moon's other posting of a moss agate pair in this shape.

This is smaller than Moon's moss agate at 19.5cm tall.

Breaking news: if you are wondering about the lighting, yes, we did have at least 10 minutes of sun today!

Another interesting pair in blue with a mark that has never been associated with Kralik production. Personally, it makes me wonder about the Moss Agate attribution....

So the same size as the blue pair. Glass gets more confusing, rather than less, but always fascinating!

Ian, isn't Brighton supposed to be where Brits go on holiday - for the sun & sea? ;) (Congrats on the sun!) And I love this vase - the color, pattern and shape all scream Welz to me, too.... :) (I too, based on some recent information, now question the moss agate attribution along with Craig)

I love draped and yellow. Beautiful

Well it screams Kralik to me, one of their iridescent and translucent molded glass pieces, early 20th, in a variety of forms, decors and colors.

Since there seems to be no chance of any agreement that these pieces may have been produced by two glass houses, I will vote for Kralik, as these have a special place in my Czech glass collection by Kralik.

The mark doesn't scream Kralik. though!

Peggy, I did not know there was a mark on this vase? Or do you mean the other yellow pieces? Or all the colors? I am curious. I know we have never come up with that specific mark on a Kralik glass item.
